Dr. Sarah Foreman, DVM

Sarah has been around horses all her life. She grew up in Central Illinois riding hunter/jumpers with her mother, a trainer with 40+ years of experience in the industry. Terri Foreman has built a successful lesson and show barn in the Champaign County area with both IHSA and IEA show teams that Sarah was lucky enough to assistant coach during her 4 years of vet school at the University of Illinois. Together she and Terri worked to further equine education both in and out of the saddle, seeking to create well-rounded horsemen and -women across all age groups. Sarah also has experience with United States Pony Club and Mounted Games Across America which allowed her to compete at the national and international level in her teens. Her father and older sister are both equine veterinarians, and given how many wonderful and life-changing experiences horses have given her over the years, is it any wonder that Sarah ended up in vet school too? Sarah holds a special place in her heart for the performance horse and she can't wait to support these incredible athletes at all levels of competition as she moves forward in this wonderful career.

Sarah attended vet school at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completed an equine internship at Piedmont Equine Practice in The Plains, VA.

In her spare time you'll likely find Sarah riding her OTTB gelding Jazz or loving on her semi-retired Trakeher gelding Casey. If she's not in the saddle she's probably hiking with her hound dog Auggie or reading a book with her adopted cat Grayson.
